Theatre & Thespians

Students of all grade levels are welcomed to participate in our Drama program productions. We encourage our students to become involved in the productions as thespians, stage crew, prop and costume design, and tech crew. Our Drama department puts on two productions each year: Fine Arts Night in the fall, showcasing all of our student's range of talents, and a spring musical. 

Under the leadership of Director Kate Longazel '06, since 2021, past productions include Mamma Mia!, Tick….Tick…Boom, Cinderella, West Side Story, and the Wizard of Oz.

The SJPII Thespian Troupe has qualified at the District Competition for the Florida State Thespian Festival each year. Most recently, the Troupe took the stage at The Florida State Thespian Festival and brought home 2 Excellent Awards!
