Saint John Paul II Academy’s First-Ever Capital Campaign

A $4 million initiative to install a turf field, build a concession building with restrooms, and construct a modern Athletic Field House. This is more than a project. It is a legacy in the making for our student-athletes and the entire SJPII community. 

Blessing of the Field

Most Rev. Bishop Gerald Barbarito blessed our new turf field on September 4th, marking a special moment in our Soaring to New Heights Capital Campaign. We can’t wait to kick off our first home football game on the field Monday, September 15th, and to cheer on all our teams in the years to come.

August 4th Update

CSR Construction has been working hard since our groundbreaking to install our new turf field.  As of August 4th, underground drainage systems are being installed around the field to help manage rainwater and prevent flooding. We’re almost there. The countdown is on!

Turf Field Ground Breaking Ceremony

On Wednesday, June 11th, we celebrated our groundbreaking of Phase 1 of our Capital Campaign, installing a turf field. This exciting moment was shared with members of our Advancement Committee, generous donors, and key leaders, including our Advancement Director Mr. Shea Ciarletta, President Mr. Edward Bernot, Superintendent of Schools Mr. Gary Gelo, Athletic Director Mr. Greg Walker, Facilities Director Mr. Andrew Bolger, Director of Finance Mrs. Ann Marie Chiste, and Advancement Committee Chair Mr. Mike Pontillo. This marks the beginning of a transformative era for Saint John Paul II Academy!
