Saint John Paul II Academy's educational program is a traditional one in that we strive to prepare students for success in college and in life. Our regular academic day consists of seven class periods. The regular academic day begins at 7:45 AM and ends at 2:35 PM, allowing time in the afternoon for extra help, teacher assistance, and co-curricular activities and athletics.
Academic Departments
SJPII organizes instruction into departments that are grouped by areas of study. Our academic departments are staffed by Department Chairs, who are specialists in their respective fields. Our Department Chairs collaborate in the development of curriculum, the establishment of standards, and the creation of instructional strategies. Our academics are divided by the following Departments: Theology, Science, World Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Fine/Performing Arts, Physical Education, and English.
