Saint John Paul II Academy is proud of its tradition of volunteerism and the outstanding community built around families working together for a common goal.  To this end, each family is expected to contribute 10 hours of time during the school year in support of school-wide activities.


We need your help.  It takes many hands and hearts to bring the programs and events of the school to life.  Many hands make light work, and we are asking you to lend a hand. 

Saint John Paul II Academy has a Parent Involvement Program, otherwise known as PIP. The Parent Involvement Program offers a unique approach to the cooperative effort of parents, students, faculty and administration as a way of building community in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the life of Pope, according to their talents and interests.

This program is pertinent to the Academy in keeping the cost of education to a minimum. The cost to educate a student at SJPII is approximately $14,000 per year, and as many of you are aware there is gap between the cost to educate a student and the actual tuition collected.

Each family with a student at SJPII is required to commit to ten (10) hours of service each academic year. Opportunities for involvement are available in many areas of school life, including social activities, fund raisers, sports activities, clerical help and special events sponsored by the Advancement Office. This service may also be fulfilled through a monetary or in-kind donation of $20.00 per hour.

A list of volunteer opportunities can be found on this page. In addition, you will receive sign up emails, from time to time, asking you to commit to things that require immediate help.

There is something for everyone but it will require a little planning.  If you work or can only help at certain times please look for opportunities that will fulfil your hours within your availability. Also, there are opportunities to bake or do things outside of school that may be easier for you to do. Check the website today so you can plan to lend a hand.

Every family is required to fulfill ten (10) hours of service or pay the monetary portion of $20.00 per hour for hours not completed.  Hours MUST be entered into RenWeb in your parent portal.  All hours are due by May 1 at which time families who have not completed the hours will be billed.

If you need computer access, you can use a computer at the school.

 *Some volunteer positions may require you to be finger printed and complete Protecting God’s Children.
