Saint John Paul II Academy is proud of its tradition of volunteerism and the outstanding community built around families working together for a common goal.  To this end, each family is expected to contribute 10 hours of time during the school year in support of school-wide activities.

PARENT VOLUNTEER HOURS REQUIRED

We need your help.  It takes many hands and hearts to bring the programs and events of the school to life.  Many hands make light work, and we are asking you to lend a hand.

Saint John Paull II Academy has a mandatory Parent Involvement Program as explained on the application for our school. The Parent Involvement Program offers a unique approach to the cooperative effort of parents, students, faculty and adminstrators as a way of building community in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Parents are encouraged to become involved according to their talents and interests.

Each family with a student at SJPII is required to complete ten (10) hours of service each academic year. Opportunities for involvement are available in many areas of school life, including social activities, fund raisers, sports activities, clerical help and special events sponsored by the Development Office. This service may also be fulfilled through a monetary or in-kind donation of $20.00 per hour.  Hours MUST be entered (self reported) into RenWeb via your parent portalAll hours are due by May 1 at which time families who have not completed the hours will be billed.  If you need computer access, you can use a computer at the school.

To self report your hours on RENWEB, access the mobile app, select "family" and then select "service hours". A list of family members will be revealed. Select the member of the family who completed the hours  and select "add service hours" then complete the date, hours and description fields. Finally, press "save". That's it! You're done. The process is very similar on the desktop version of RENWEB.

STUDENT SERVICE HOURS ARE REPORTED SEPARATELY THROUGH THE CAMPUS MINISTRY OFFICE. These instructions are for other famliy members only.

*Some volunteer positions may require you to be finger printed and complete Protecting God’s Children.

There are so many ways to volunteer and every department needs your help.
