The Lasallian Spirit Award (LSA) was created to honor members of the Saint John Paul II Academy Faculty and Staff for their commitment to living out one or more of the Five Goals of Lasallian Education:

  • Faith in the presence of God
  • Respect for all persons
  • Inclusive community
  • Quality education
  • Concern for the poor and social justice

Beginning in the 2017-18 school year, the award was expanded to also honor one member of the student body each month.  All parents, students, faculty, and all other members of the SJPII Academy family are invited to nominate students and faculty/staff members for the monthly Lasallian Spirit Award.  Please click HERE if you’d like to learn more about our shared Lasallian heritage!

To nominate a member of our community, please send an email to Mr. Bernot at  Please include the name of the student or faculty/staff member, the specific goal(s) that he/she has demonstrated (above), and if possible, a brief narrative describing how that person’s actions are a living example of Lasallian Spirit.  Thank you for your assistance in recognizing the great work that our faculty, staff, and students do each and every day!
